Giving much notice to our members to mark their calendars for our annual general meeting Tuesday January 10th, 2023. It is at this meeting we elect the board positions that have served their term as well as establish our yearly committees.

The positions that have served their 2 year term are:

Treasurer

Sponsorship Coordinator

As well we will elect our 6 directors who serve just a one year term.

RMC Will Be Using MYLAPS Transponder System for MX Races

The Rocky Motorcylcle Club has decided going forward we will be using the MyLaps Transponder system ~~at ALL races~~ for MX races and MotoTally for off-road races. (Edited February 28, 2021)

For those of you not familiar with MyLaps, it is a lap tracking device for your bike. This system has its own app available for download for live scoring as well. If you want to look into it further please see their website www.mylaps.com

These devices are shareable as long as you do not have more than one person racing at the same time.

Note: MotoTally will be used for off-road races.

2021 Ice Racing Season – No Events

It’s with a super heavy heart that I have to tell you that we made an executive decision to call off ice racing for the 2021 season. Not only due to covid restrictions but the ice is in no condition from the warm weather as well as the lack of snow imposes some big safety risks! Thank you for your continued patience and understanding!

To all of our ice sponsors: If you have already submitted your forms and deposit we unfortunately cannot issue a refund but with that being said we will carry those donations and sponsorships over for next years ice racing season! If you have any questions feel free to get ahold of me at any time!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in the summer season for motocross and off-road if all goes well!!

RMC Will Be Using MYLAPS Transponder System

The Rocky Motorcylcle Club has decided going forward we will be using the MyLaps Transponder system ~~at ALL races~~ for MX races and MotoTally for off-road races. (Edited February 28, 2021)

These devices are shareable as long as you do not have more than one person racing at the same time.

We are doing a bulk order of the TR2 MX Model. We are keeping a number of transponders as future rentals and the rest we will sell at our price of $250USD each less 25% and free shipping ($22USD). This price includes the device, charging cradle and a five year subscription – please note the device does not work without an active subscription. You can also purchase them individually on their website at retail price at any time.

If you wish to purchase one from the club you can contact Sara Hay, directly on messenger or at 4038773907. Orders require a $200 CAN deposit. Remainder will be due upon pickup. Final cost of course depends on the USD the date order is placed.
